Be kind, be random!

What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness?

Jean Jacques Rousseau

Experience the feel good factor this February. This week is International Random Acts of Kindness Week. Running from February 10-16, it aims to encourage people to ‘step out of your normal routine or comfort zone and attempt a new random act of kindness each day of the celebratory week.’ Stories, photos, videos and ideas can then be shared on social media channels to encourage greater participation.  Your act of kindness doesn’t have to cost a penny. You could just give someone a smile, donate unwanted items to charity or leave that space next to the supermarket entrance for someone less able.  The options are endless. Many people who embrace this concept swear there are as many benefits as a provider of kindness as a recipient of it. Judge for yourself. Check out http://www.randomactsofkindness.org/rak-week
