Making Tax Digital For Self Assessment
Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self Assessment (MTD for ITSA) is a new way for self-employed business owners and landlords to report earnings and pay Income Tax from 6th April 2024. It will replace the current system of annual Self Assessment tax returns. Those affected will have to submit four quarterly updates about their business income and expenses. At the end of the tax year, they will be required to submit an end of period statement (EOPS) and a final declaration. We provide advice and support to help clients prepare for this change so they can keep records digitally and plan for each submission deadline.
