Scott Wilson takes on Edinburgh Monarchs Academy Team Manager role

Jan 24, 2023 | TC blog, TC news

Congratulations to our Accounts Manager Scott Wilson who has recently taken on a new challenge as Team Manager of the Edinburgh Monarch’s Academy.

Scott first became a fan of the sport back in 2001. He was a founding committee member of the Monarchs Fans Trust before stepping back to focus on his chartered accountancy exams. Having completed these, Scott increased his involvement once again by becoming a driving force in Monarchs Community Initiative in 2022.

Scott will extend his association with the Monarchs further with his latest appointment as Academy Team Manager. Scott is well versed on the tactical side of speedway but will take a more comprehensive approach to team management with a focus on rider development and team synergy.

The Edinburgh Monarchs compete in British Speedway’s Championship, racing on Friday nights throughout the season at their home track, Armadale Stadium, in West Lothian.
