No Wrong Path to Success

Today is potentially the most nerve-wracking day of the whole year for thousands of Scottish households.

High school exam results are due to be released via text and letter throughout Scotland, with expectant pupils and parents waiting nervously to see how they have fared.

For some it will mean celebration and relief, while others may face disappointment and the prospect of an appeal (although since 2023, these are essentially now just a marking review).

University is not essential for success

Whatever the outcome of your exams, we can reassure you that there are many routes to a successful career, especially when it comes to accountancy. University is not essential to become a qualified accountant. In fact, some of our current partners didn’t go to university yet have become recognised specialists in their chosen field.

That’s why we strongly support the ‘No Wrong Path’ movement led by Developing the Young Workforce which provides inspiration and reassurance to young people receiving their exam results.

Here are some of our staff with their stories.
