Welcome to Bruce Hendry – Head of Wealth Management

We are delighted to welcome Bruce Hendry as our Head of Wealth Management. This new role heralds the re-structuring and expansion of our Financial Services Division across the Edinburgh and Dunfermline offices.

Bruce has extensive experience in the wealth management industry gained from a number of high profile positions spanning almost 20 years. He is a  Chartered Wealth Manager, Chartered Financial Planner and holds the STEP Certificate for Financial Services for Trusts and Estate Planning. He has also been involved in lecturing and tutoring at Edinburgh & Dundee Universities and is currently undertaking an executive MBA at the University of Edinburgh Business School.

Managing Partner David Walker commented, “Bruce is a valuable addition to our established team with his considerable depth and breadth of knowledge in portfolio and investment management.  He will enhance our financial planning capability, delivering significant benefit to our growing base of corporate and private clients. Bruce’s appointment reinforces our ambition to grow the practice and capitalise on the opportunities in our chosen markets.”

Bruce is looking forward to his new challenge, adding “Thomson Cooper have a strong base of clients and their Financial Services funds under management have flourished in the last few years. I believe there is significant potential to extend our reach, with scope to increase the services offered to appeal to new and existing markets.”
