Part-Time Administrator - Insolvency Department

Leading Accountants Thomson Cooper are looking for an Administrator to join their Insolvency Team. Based in the firm’s Dunfermline office, the successful candidate will be keen to develop their career with a recognised industry leader.

Whilst some experience in insolvency would be an advantage, it is not critical as full training and support will be provided. A sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, strong communication skills, a conscientious approach to work and a willingness to learn are essential for the role.

Predominantly, the candidate’s key responsibilities will include general administration, filing, document scanning and providing support and assistance to the Insolvency Managers and Administrators as and when required. Whilst the role is focused mainly on administrative tasks, there will be the opportunity to develop a broader understanding of the Insolvency industry generally and to work with the Administrators on case specific tasks.

The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working to deadlines and under pressure and will be able to work with minimal supervision.

This is a part time role and would ideally cover five days (Monday to Friday). Working hours negotiable with the right candidate.
