Wealth Management Administrator

At Thomson Cooper our purpose is to “listen, advise and support our clients to achieve their goals”.  Due to continued expansion within our Wealth Management Team, we have an exciting opportunity for an individual who shares that purpose, to join our team as a Wealth Management Administrator.

This role involves working with our 3 advisers and our para-planners dealing with a range of financial planning products.

Although this is not an exhaustive list, below is an illustration of the varied workload associated with the role –

CORE OPERATIONAL

  • Liaise with clients to deal with administration queries
  • Assisting team leader to construct, develop and implement department procedures
  • Input renumeration statements into IO, ensuring all clients are set up with the correct fee and close month end as per procedure
  • Help develop our remuneration process
  • Liaise with providers, chase on a regular basis to ensure we receive the correct information as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • Support the financial advisers and para-planners
  • Ensure that all administration tasks are carried out and comply with regulations
  • Manage ongoing customer care of existing clients
  • Diary management – for client review meetings
  • Prepare and issue annual review data to clients
  • Deal with incoming mail, save and ensure any relevant information is added to IO
  • Ensure that financial planners’ recommendations to clients are actioned accurately and in a timely manner
  • Updating and managing the client database
  • Maintain clients’ records
  • Ensure clients are kept up to date with the progress of cases being work on
  • Process new business applications, switches, surrenders, withdrawals & servicing as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • Ensure all client information is stored correctly and meets compliance requirements
  • Email/Mail merges

  • Experience in processing monthly remuneration on our back-office system, closing month/year end and help develop our current process and procedure
  • Suitable industry qualifications (desirable)
