Audit Senior

At Thomson Cooper our purpose is to “listen, advise and support our clients to achieve their goals” and due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an individual who shares that purpose to join our Audit team.

The position will suit an individual with at least 3 years’ experience working within audit, experience in supervising and leading small audit teams and who has a keen interest in that area.

You will work under the supervision of our audit managers but be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients, therefore you must have the necessary skill set to develop and maintain relationships with both clients and colleagues.

Although this is not an exhaustive list, below is an idea of the varied workload associated with the role –


  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns (experience preferable but not essential)
  • Working at client premises
  • Exposure to a wide and diverse client base
  • Leading audits and supervision of junior members of the team
  • Maintaining client contact and delivering a proactive service
  • Working as part of a team


You will have experience of working within and leading audit teams and be able to demonstrate a track record of success.  You will have excellent interpersonal and technical skills and be committed to delivering first class service.  You should have the ability to work under pressure effectively both individually, and as part of a team, and be able to demonstrate excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
