Autumn Budget Guide

On Wednesday 30 October 2024, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves presented her Budget to Parliament, the first Budget in UK history to be delivered by a woman.

The new Chancellor sought to address the ‘£22 billion “black hole” in the nation’s finances’ that Labour stated was inherited from the Conservatives.

She set out a plan to ‘fix the foundations of the economy and deliver change’.
