Life at Thomson Cooper

Life at Thomson Cooper

life at thomson cooper

We appreciate getting your first job or moving to a new job can be a daunting experience. We try hard to make it as enjoyable as possible, supporting our new starts with a thorough induction session hosted by our experienced HR colleague.

Many members of the Thomson Cooper team have worked here straight from school, college and university, and there are several more who have returned to Thomson Cooper after working in industry or for other firms. Hopefully, this means we're doing something right and that our talented staff members enjoy working here.

Our progressive nature means you'll have access to our unique in-house training programme, flexible working opportunities and experience of working with a diverse portfolio of clients. This section aims to give you a flavour of what it's like to work for us, covering a variety of roles and different stages of the career ladder.

We'll invest in your ability, just bring along a positive attitude and a desire to deliver great service.

Y Viva Espana! for Fife Kidney Support Group

fundraising for Fife Kidney Support Group

Jack Laird, Tom Russell and Sandra Mitchell hand over a cheque for a whopping £1,562 to our nominated charity Fife Kidney Support Group. All the money we raise for the Group this year is ring-fenced to subsidise a Spanish trip for members of the group who receive dialysis or are transplant recipients.

The money was raised by an amazing group of Thomson Cooper people who committed to taking part in a gruelling 10 mile Tough Mudder event in June. In the run-up, they all trained hard and raised funds with a cake sale and online giving. The partners also played their part, by donating a significant sum of money.

We're all looking forward to working with Fife Kidney Support Group over the next few months.

Here Mark Gibson hands over our bundle to Gingey! The Edinburgh office collected gifts for the Forth One Mission Christmas Cash For Kids Appeal. And to top it all, our staff also raised a tinsel-tastic £185 for Save The Children on Christmas Jumper Day. Well done everyone!
