‘Platinum Employer’ status retained

Aug 24, 2016 | TC news

We are delighted to have retained the prestigious ‘Platinum Employer’ status from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The ACCA is the global body for professional accountants. They support 188,000 members and 480,000 students via a world-wide infrastructure, providing qualifications that are aimed at meeting the current and future needs of international business.

The ACCA Approved Employer programme recognises employers’ high standards of staff training, accountancy resources and development for their ACCA members and trainees. It features three streams comprising of trainee development, professional development and practicing certificate development, providing support and enhanced access to specific ACCA business processes.

Thomson Cooper Managing Partner David Walker commented, “We were first awarded Platinum status in 2010. The team have relished the challenge of consistently meeting the stringent standards required. Staff and clients benefit from us achieving this global quality benchmark. It illustrates our commitment to staff training and development, and allows us to deliver an industry leading service.”
